College Heights

Baptist Church

We meet on Sundays for public worship. Worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. CHBC livestreams the service as well. To find the livestream, go to the College Heights Baptist Church website and look for the Facebook post for June 23 worship service. Sunday school is at 9:15 a.m. We offer nursery care for pre-school aged children during the worship service only, where we will observe the Lord’s Supper. Lentz Upshaw is the pastor and he will be preaching from Psalm 32. The title of the sermon is, “How Can I be Free from Guilt?” Call 785-537-7744 with any questions.

First Christian Church

“Light of the World” Praise Camp, directed by Linda Uthoff, will perform during worship. This group of youth have met with Linda’s Musical Workshop all last week, and they created a beautiful expression of praise to God.

First Congregational UCC

First Free Methodist

Sunday School for all ages is Sunday at 10 a.m. The lesson for adults is “Prayer – Praying with a Grateful Heart,” Psalms 65 and 100. The youth have a craft project. Worship service is Sunday at 11 a.m. Lewis O. Smith Sr. will deliver message from the Bible, which will also be broadcast on Facebook. A fellowship lunch follows the service. Methodist Church

Join us this Sunday at First United Methodist Church for worship. Pastor Courtney Fellers will give the message “What Scares You?” based on Mark 4:35-41. Hope Lutheran Church

Hope Lutheran welcomes you to All Faiths Chapel on K-State campus at 1401 Vattier St. We meet Sundays at 9 a.m. for Sunday school and adult Bible study, and at 10 a.m. for worship, followed by fellowship time. Keats Lydia Chapel

Keats Lydia Chapel is located in the Wildcat Valley, 4 miles west of Manhattan at 3193 Keats Ave. It is a reorganized non-denominational community church. Come worship with us every Sunday 9 a.m. On June 23, Pastor Kendall McFall will continue our study of the Gospel of John. On June 26, the Last Wednesday supper begins at 6:30 p.m. in the center. Hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and table services will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. June 30 is church in the Keats Park. At 9 a.m. there will be a potluck brunch with drinks provided. Worship will be at 10 a.m., with a noisy offering — bring your loose change for missions.

St. Paul’s Episcopal

Mother Margaret McGhee will be celebrant at Holy Eucharist at our summer combined worship service. It starts at 9 a.m. Lectio Devina, the personal sharing of scripture, is on Saturday, at 11 a.m. Young adult Bible study is on Mondays, at 6:30 p.m.

St. Paul’s provides free breakfast twice weekly at our Fellowship Hall, with the help of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship. This is a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to get together sharing a great meal.

Encore Shop, selling gently used quality clothing and household goods, is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday, from 1 to 4 p.m. All proceeds go to helping others in our community. St. Paul’s is at 601 Poyntz Ave., stpaulsmanhattan.org.

Unitarian Universalist Fellowship
