Job SUMMARY

IT Developer, who has hands-on design / delivery experience with API based integration solutions, micro services design, and has a good knowledge of integration patterns. Understands banking system integration to provide valuable insight on integrations process. Who is able to provide Application Support and has strong experience with supporting Banking Applications both in-house as well as ASP, from both an IT and a Business perspective. Has knowledge of banking suite of products such as Deposit, Loan and Treasury Accounts as well as Cash Management products. Able to troubleshoot production issues. Able to learn and take on new application support to assist operations and business growth.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

● Act creatively to develop applications and select appropriate technical options, optimizing application development,

maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions, account for other developmental activities

● Interpret the application/feature/component design to develop the same in accordance with specifications

● Code, debug, test, document and communicate product/component/feature development stages

● Validate results with user representatives; integrates and commissions the overall solution

● Select appropriate technical options for development such as reusing, improving or reconfiguration of existing components or creating own solutions

● Optimizes efficiency, cost and quality

● Influence and improve customer satisfaction

● Adherence to industry best practices and standards such as coding standards, change management processes and secure coding practices

● Adherence to project schedule / timelines

● Adherence to security requirements

● Production and User Support for various in-house and outsourced applications

● Able to provide analysis of an issue and work together with business and vendors to resolve

● Assist and coordinate Install, test, support various system upgrades

● Support interfaces among various banking systems

● Interacts with various vendors for issue resolutions

● Works with various Bank Units to gather requirements

● Perform other duties, as assigned, which fall within scope of responsibility.

Qualifications Needed

Knowledge / Technical Skills:

• Programming language knowledge (Python, JS, Sql, react, Angular) & IDE's (VS code etc)

• Working knowledge with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML and other web technologies

• Working knowledge with creation of workflows and building the applications

• Working knowledge of modern authentication mechanisms to interface with 3rd party APIs

• Familiarity with CodeConnect API marketplace or API market places in the financial domain

• Knowledge of Banking Products (Deposits, Loans, Treasury, etc)

• Good to have: Knowledge of Banking Applications (FIS Application Suite) and data flow

• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, Vlookup, Nested formulas) and other Microsoft Products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Strong Analytical Skills

• Understanding and previous experience with Project Life Cycle; ability to support from analysis to implementation

OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATION

Experience Required/Preferred: 5+ years relevant experience working in IT. Developing and providing production application support.

Education Required/Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience

Languages Required/Preferred: English Speaking
