A Test Analyst l - Automation is responsible for working between the Automation (75%) and Functional (25%) testing realms to design, build, maintain, and execute comprehensive automated test suites, ensuring that connected systems integrate and function to meet key business-defined conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years hands-on Software Test Automation experience writing data-driven test scripts for applications (Java, Mainframe, Mobile, Web, etc.) and systems using UFT One (75% of role)
- Required to periodically perform manual functional tests to gain deeper insight into the applications under test, as well as to help fill test coverage gaps as they arise (25% of role)
- 3+ years experience writing automation tests for testing complex n-tier web applications at all tiers (GUI, API, and DB) using UFT One (or similar VB based tools)
- Ensure automated test scripts run efficiently and are designed to be easily maintainable
- Demonstrated ability to think out-of-the-box; devising more than one path to an automated solution (Developer Mindset)
- Use analytical skills to translate requirements into a cohesive automation test plan/strategy for a suite of developed systems, applications, and workflows
- Create, maintain, and execute complex functional automated tests on applications backed by Java, .NET, RESTful and SOAP APIs, SQL Server, and batch files
- Ability to guide coworkers through automated testing related activities with minimal supervision
- Capable of managing test-identified defects from initiation through final solution implementation with developers, business analysts, project managers and business users
- Able to work independently as well as with a team to meet target dates
- Solid organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables to find and confirm defects quickly and accurately
- Ability to function in a team environment and guide coworkers from IT and non-IT teams
Requisite Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Execution of automated test and data generation scripts through direct hands-on delivery, and through the coordination with technical quality peers
- Knowledge of object oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills
- Create and execute application performance test plans and scripts
Desired Experience:
- Skilled in using Azure Dev Ops (ADO) tools for creating, maintaining, and reporting on/dashboarding test artifacts.
- Functional understanding of the Property and Casualty insurance industry is a huge plus
Education, Training & Certifications:
- Helpful to have at least one advanced test certification
- Relevant experience will be considered in-lieu of a college degree or advanced certification

The salary range for the role is $76,000-$110,000 per year paid on a salaried basis. The rate offered to any candidate will be reflective of the candidates experience and any relevant education, certification, or qualifications related to their ability to perform the responsibilities of this position as permitted by law.
