After five months on board at procilon GROUP, I've encountered a steep learning curve, for example in understanding communication processes within the energy sector in Germany.For those who may not be aware, on April 1st, the entire energy market communication in Germany underwent a significant transition to a new protocol known as #AS4. This shift was driven by a collective goal to enhance security, reliability, interoperability, and accountability within the critical infrastructure. procilon GROUP was actively involved in this endeavor, developing a new AS4 SaaS solution leveraging our #proTECTr platform.The outcome? We successfully onboarded approximately 25% of the energy market players just in time for the deadline and our AS4 Cloud Platform is now facilitating the seamless exchange of millions of messages daily.However, I must emphasize that this achievement did not come without its challenges. Working on a new technology with stringent security and interoperability requirements, navigating numerous process dependencies, with a hard deadline in the neck was no walk in the park.So, while this will make for a great campfire story down the road, anyone who's been in the trenches knows the sweat and tears poured into making it happen.It might seem like it's all about the tech, but we should never forget, it's the people who've been driving the results. Massive shoutout and thanks to the whole procilon GROUP team for getting us across the finish line.
